This is the new space of Andrea Tognon Architecture atelier in Milan. The design approach starts from a long observation of those spaces where we start to work before any intervention was made. The spaces in the office PALAZZINA were very banal. From the beginning we started to play with the existing through colors, to cut or underline volumes and spaces. We began with a gray base adding different pigments to each room, defining imperceptible sequences of spaces. We played with existing recessed neon lights just adding color tape to warm up the light and give it an emotional value ... Then we unified the different buildings through black color, giving to the outside spaces an interior feeling. The project is a work in progress, an occasion to test ideas of simplicity but with a strong spacial and emotional impact ...
